HEY!

We are so so excited to welcome you to our group in less than a week! It’s chilly here in Bend and we’re ready for the warmth of Southeast Asia!

We can’t wait to meet you all in person – It seems like we are all SO ready for an adventure that challenges and pushes us out of our comfort zones together. We are looking forward to a semester full of hiking, kayaking, SCUBA diving, exploring temples, visiting museums, learning deep histories, making lasting friendships, and challenging our Western narratives. This will be a semester full of opportunities to learn about ourselves and the world. We are excited to be here to support you in this powerfully transformative experience.

We hope things are going well for you all as you get ready to leave for this adventure. We know that leaving home might be hard, but we also know that a gap semester is a truly unique and impactful experience at such a formative time in your lives. We’ll be engaging in amazing conversations, channeling our interests, and will undoubtedly come out of this semester with challenged perspectives and lifelong memories. We couldn’t be more excited, and we hope you are too :).
